Madonna of the streets oval religious medal inspired by the Madonna of the Streets painting by Roberto Ferruzzi. The front of the medal depicts the Blessed Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus. The actual inspiration for the painting was a young girl, carrying her little brother, but it was said that Italian Catholics took the painting as that of the Virgin Mary carrying the infant Jesus.
