Saint Edward the Confessor medal. Edward was among the last Anglo-Saxon kings of England and he is considered the last king of the House of Wessex, he ruled from 1042 to 1066. The front of the medal depicts St Edward offering a coin to Saint John who is disguised as a beggar. The reverse side is marked “Pray For Us”. This detailed die-cast medal is made in the region of Italy that produces the finest quality medals in the world.
