Viator is a Gaul saint who lived during the fourth century in Lyon, France. He worked as a catechist, helping young people develop their religious beliefs.
He is the patron of the Clerics of St. Viator, a community of parochial clerics or catechists, who are priests and teaching brothers living on a footing of religious equality. His feast day is October 21st.
