Small silver-tone flat budded cross charms.
A Budded Cross is cross with three circles or discs on each end. In a Christian context, the three buds represent the Holy Trinity. Since there are four arms with three buds at the end of each, another name given to this cross is the Apostles’ Cross, with one bud for each of the twelve budding Christian apostles. Other names for this style of cross are the Apostles’ Cross, the Treflée, Botonée, Pelleted, Pommee, Beaded or Cathedral Cross.
