Vintage Abbey of Tihany wall plaque made from clay. The Tihany Abbey is a Benedictine monastery established at Tihany in the Kingdom of Hungary in 1055. Its patrons are the Virgin Mary and Saint Aignan of Orleans. The plaque has holes at the top so you can add string to hang it. There are no major breaks in the piece but there a few chips on the front of the piece where the base color shows through, I’ve circled the areas in red in the last photo.
