Glass cabochon of the Miraculous medal in a gold and black design. Hand pressed and painted in the Czech Republic. As these are hand-made items each piece may vary slightly. **Bronze bezel shown in some of the photos is not included, shown for reference only.
Made in Czech Republic, these reverse carved picture stones are miniature works of art. Known historically as crystal paintings, each of these glass crystal stones is hand pressed with a smooth domed top through which you can see a detailed intaglio image, molded into the back of the stone. The intaglio carving is then painted or coated, and the surrounding surface is cut or polished to remove excess color and highlight the image.
